As part of the International Documentary Association's fiscal sponsorship program, Sin Frontera explores the role that the Tijuana soccer team "Xolos" can play in the lives of its fans on both sides of the Tijuana Border, questioning the power exercised over them by borders, politics, and identity.
Joining fans from their homes in Mexico and the United States, we get an intimate look at the community and fandom forged through the “Xolos”. This is the first generation of fans for the team and they are reimagining what it means to be Norteño, Chicano or Anglo-American in a region where definitions are increasingly forced on people.
